« Un spectacle du plaisir de l’écriture et de l’urgence de dire » selon l’auteur Jean-Philippe Bos, qui signe aussi la dramaturgie et la mise en jeu. Le cheminement de la parole montre l’homme contemporain aux prises avec ses interrogations sur le monde. La pièce est construite sur le principe d’une exploration du réel par fragments, faisant apparaître des personnages et des thématiques spécifiques. Le calcul du SMIC par les experts qui l’ont mis en place, les prospectus publicitaires sur le crédit, les hommes qui se réveillent dans les draps de Manueline, les frères Conaud, qui ne sont pas racistes, un homme seul – « Quand je suis seul, je m’ouvre une boîte de Petit-Plat-Pour-Deux de Gérard Guéret » -, pour saisir des bribes de réel et de vérité, au fil d’une écriture au travail, d’un spectacle en train de fabriquer. Deux hommes sont sur le plateau, un auteur (Jean-Philippe Ibos) et un acteur (Hubert Chaperon), et des piles de feuilles dactylographiées comme autant de pistes impertinentes tentant de dire le monde. Ils sont face au public, tout près de lui. Afin que « la noirceur et le rire s’entremêlent pour secouer les corps et les esprits. »
