On le sait, Vladimir Jankélévitch ne fut pas seulement un philosophe puissant mais aussi un musicologue averti, auteur notamment de La Musique et l’Ineffable. Le professeur de philosophie et metteur en scène Avner Camus Perez, qui s’est déjà penché sur un épisode de la vie d’Hannah Arendt ou sur Les Confessions de Jean-Jacques Rousseau dans ses précédents spectacles, semble avoir fait de ses deux passions, la philosophie et le théâtre, sa spécialité. Cette fois, il adapte des textes de Vladimir Jankélévitch et incarne le philosophe, accompagné par le piano et la voix de Géraldine Masson. Tous deux rendent ainsi hommage à l’itinéraire de « Yanké », qui, de la fuite des persécutions en Russie à son entrée dans la Résistance française en passant par sa déchéance de nationalité, a connu le pire du XXe siècle. Ce qui n’a pas empêché l’auteur du Je-ne-sais-quoi d’explorer les questions philosophiques et esthétiques avec la plus grande malice. En témoigne ce spectacle, hommage émouvant à la personnalité hors-normes de celui qui a marqué des générations d’étudiants.
