Vingt-deux interprètes : la création 2009 de Christian Bourigault joue, d’abord, sur la notion de groupe. Autre particularité : parmi les vingt-deux danseurs, sept sont des professionnels, et quinze sont des amateurs, issus des cours de danse de la région. Il s’agit donc de rassembler, sur le plateau, des expériences et des corps différents, ce qui vient ouvrir une porte salutaire dans le champ chorégraphique – dominé, quoi qu’on en dise, par des normes évidentes en matière d’âge et de morphologie. Mais il s’agit surtout, par cette diversité, de créer du trouble : « qui est qui » ? Comment distinguer le danseur amateur du professionnel ? C’est alors un rapport ludique qui s’instaure entre la scène, qui expose des identités mobiles, et la salle, confrontée à une partition chorégraphique collective dont les répétitions, déclinaisons et détournements remettent en jeu notre regard et nos a priori sur la danse et les danseurs.
