« Je chanterai ce que je n’aurai pas voulu chanter ». C’est au creux d’une phrase, tirée de l’unique chanson en occitan du XIIe siècle de la trobairitz Beatriz de Dia, qu’est né Quietos. Cette voix lointaine, qui cherche ses mots dans le silence des corps, est la matière première de cette pièce mystérieuse, qui se déroule comme dans un suspens du temps. Marcela Santander Corvalán développe autour de ce premier vers lacunaire, les plis et replis d’un duo, débordant de rêves et de paroles ébauchées, de chants d’oiseaux et de souffles divers, pour créer un espace d’écoute inopiné. C’est le calme après la tempête que suggère en espagnol le mot « Quieto », celui qui fait taire aussi les bruits intempestifs. Ici au pluriel, Quietos réverbère l’écho de nos sensations, convoque terre et ciel mêlés et nous invite à tendre l’oreille pour une rencontre imprévue entre la poétesse du Moyen Age et la jeune rappeuse anglaise Kate Tempest. Et si tout avait déjà été dit et qu’il fallait seulement écouter ?
