Théâtre de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines / Chor. Mazelfreten
Rave Lucid, troisième création de la compagnie Mazelfreten (Brandon Masele et Laura Defretin) réunit sur scène dix danseurs aux fortes personnalités pour un hommage à la danse électro des années 2000, revue et corrigée par nos deux chorégraphes. Leur danse très chorégraphiée, qui laisse place à l’originalité, conjugue à l’énergie de mouvements à 120 bpm l’exigence d’une concentration sans faille. La création engagée et viscérale n’a pas peur de ralentir et induit des effets de transe ou d’hypnose, grâce notamment à la musique de NikiT & Filles de minuit. Avec des jeux de bras fascinants, les chorégraphes déploient à la fois le monde de la rave, conçue comme une fête, et la lucidité précise que demande une synchronisation parfaite de ce corps de ballet électro d’un nouveau genre. Comme l’indique le titre, c’est un « rêve lucide » qui nous entraîne dans un univers étonnant. Dans le cadre des 30 ans du Théâtre de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, la représentation sera suivie d’un DJ set sur le plateau du petit théâtre.
