C’est au pluriel que se conjugue aujourd’hui la jongle et sur tous les modes qu’elle se décline : elle joue des balles ou massues classiques autant que d’objets insolites, tresse les sons et les rythmes en mélodies musicales, imprime effets graphiques et impressions cinétiques, danse avec les corps et raconte même volontiers des histoires. En témoigne la Rencontre des jonglages, qui propose petits ou grands formats et réunit quelques-uns des jongleurs les plus créatifs. Dans la rue, sous le chapiteau ou au théâtre, vont ainsi se succéder durant trois jours une vingtaine de compagnies. Parmi les pièces « grand format », Pan-Pot ou Modérément chantant, du Collectif Petit Travers, dessine sobrement ses variations rythmiques en digressions graphiques suivant les élans d’une fugue de Bach. Jani Nuutinen, de Circo Aero, présente Un cirque au plus juste, solo intimiste bricolé avec quelques objets rustiques pour l’émotion simplement forte. Quant aux Apostrophés, ils investissent l’espace public avec un Cabaret désemboité habilement cocasse.
Une vingtaine de compagnie en trois jours
Parmi les formats plus courts, Denis Paumier ouvre son laboratoire scénique pour dévoiler dix minutes de Transparence, Martin Schwietzke détourne l’apesanteur avec Songe, Karen Bourre fait tournoyer les cœurs aussi vite que ses oula ooooooops dans un Rosie Rosie Live Show déjanté et Roman Müller de la Cie Tr’espace explore tous les possibles du diabolo. Enfin, quelques « Coups de dés » (pièces en cours de création) et une flopée de numéros au format plus traditionnel complètent le programme, qui s’achèvera Chez Nono avec le Tire-Laine, groupe de musique manouche, pour une session de jonglage improvisé ouverte à tous les amateurs.
