Théâtre de Cachan Conception Alessandro Maida et Maxime Pythoud
Respire est la deuxième création de la compagnie, formée par un tandem venu de l’école de cirque de Bruxelles. Alessandro Maida et Maxime Pythoud ont étudié ensemble le cirque, bourlingué dans diverses compagnies et projets, avant de se retrouver dans le même esprit de création, qui met l’expressivité du corps et la prouesse technique au centre de la démarche. Pour Respire, ils ont fait appel au pianiste Alejandro Patrasso dont la présence sur scène devient un élément de jeu, qui accompagne ou bouscule les interprètes au gré de leurs évolutions. Dans un univers dépouillé, ils emmènent le spectateur dans des territoires de partage où l’on reste suspendu à leur souffle, leurs vertiges, leurs déséquilibres. La roue Cyr imprime au mouvement un entrelacs, tandis que les balles expriment la suspension et l’irrépressible désir de chute. La boule offre une rondeur déstabilisante, et nos deux complices s’en donne à cœur joie pour faire de chaque situation des moments de danse et d’acrobatie.
