« Le travail devient une denrée rare, un luxe et, ne nous cachons pas la réalité, le chômage est une donnée structurelle de notre société, il faut désormais faire avec. ». Le constat, pour une fois, n’est pas seriné par quelque docte économiste, mais pointé par le CRIK (comprenez le Club de réflexion et d’Investigation Clownesque). Il est vrai que les gouvernements préfèrent souvent les slogans aux vérités grise mine. « Il faut remettre la France au travail… » ou « travailler plus pour… » figurent ainsi parmi les antiennes très à la mode en ce moment. Loin de tirer un lamento pleurnichard de cette triste situation devenue lapalissade, les clowns se sont donc mis… au travail. « Le Crik est une petite entreprise regroupant des travailleurs du champ culturel élargi, explique très sérieusement ces drôles de gus. Soumise aux lois du marché, elle cherche à développer son activité dans le domaine très pointu du questionnement sociétal vectorisé en s’appuyant sur son produit phare : le clown de théâtre ! »
Un regard amusé et critique
Tous autant qu’ils sont, c’est-à-dire six sur le plateau, Sophie Maillard et Jean-François Maurier aux manettes, ont relu Adam Smith, père de la théorie de la « main invisible » et du libéralisme économique. Autant prévenir qu’ils l’ont interprété à leur manière, c’est-à-dire avec leur art du détournement, contournement, retournement. Démontant la mécanique des discours managériaux, sociologiques ou politiques, ils en ont sorti tous les pistons et autres manivelles : délocalisations, flexibilité, emplois fictifs, plus un gros paquet de questions à ne dévoiler qu’en présence du public. Pour être à la hauteur de leur mission, ils jouent bien sûr aux employés zélés, donc débordés, donc stressés, veillant à se répartir les tâches. « Seulement, ce sont des clowns et nécessairement, ça n’est pas simple… » souligne le metteur en scène. Face à la gravité de la conjoncture, le Crik en appelle au Rêve général. Un beau programme, non ?
