C’est un retour plutôt vers l’introspection qu’ont dû effectuer les huit artistes de Réversible. Le spectacle questionne en effet notre rapport à notre propre histoire, notre propre mémoire, à travers les figures de nos ancêtres. Glanant les souvenirs familiaux, le processus proposé par Gypsy Snider leur offre de faire le lien entre passé et présent, de « Je me souviens » à « que sommes-nous devenus ». Mais plus encore, c’est la scénographie qui guide les artistes dans un espace de repli intérieur tout à fait propice aux rebondissements. Le plateau, ceint de trois murs coulissants, se transforme à volonté et propose aux artistes de démultiplier les points de vue et les points de chute. Les murs se font agrès, nous emportent ailleurs, au coin d’une rue ou cinquante ans en arrière. Une simplicité apparente pour le moins ingénieuse et porteuse de sens.
