Après sa précédente pièce, Notte, construite autour de la notion de porosité voire de confusion entre l’intérieur et l’extérieur du corps, la chorégraphe et interprète Anna Massoni crée Rideau pour approfondir cette recherche, à partir d’un autre point de vue. Ce nouveau solo tend à questionner la solitude à travers différents fragments et motifs, déployés en autant de déclinaisons ou de ramifications entrant en résonance avec l’interprétation de la chorégraphe. Rapprochés par leur intérêt commun pour la littérature queer et féministe, Bryana Fritz et Thibault Lac choisissent dans KNIGHT-NIGHT d’explorer la figure de Don Quichotte. Au-delà de la référence au « Chevalier à la triste figure » de Cervantes, le duo explore la figure féminine de Kathy Acker qu’elle dépeint dans son Don Quichotte, chevalière partie combattre les enchanteurs de l’Amérique moderne. Leur point commun ? Être suspendus entre le rêve et la réalité et célébrer la fragilité de l’instant.
