Des zincs du quartier de Saint-Merri, où il trinquait avec Prévert, au camp de Terezin où il mourut en déportation, de la spontanéité surréaliste à la gravité des chants d’amour, du soleil aventureux de la jeunesse aux charniers de l’histoire où saigne encore le souvenir des victimes, virevoltent le souvenir et la silhouette de Robert Desnos, libertaire au sourire d’enfant. « Pour ne pas trahir le poète, il suffit de dire ses textes dans un engagement total du cœur, de les chanter, de laisser la musique accompagner les poèmes et les acteurs, de laisser leur place au rire, aux « absurdités instantanées », à la révolte et à l’émotion », dit Marion Bierry, qui rend un vibrant hommage à celui dont la poésie la « soutient depuis toujours ». Trois palettes de chantier, deux escabeaux et des tabourets, et le talent pour les occuper et faire revivre une œuvre dont la générosité excentrique et la folie endiablée feront toujours rougir l’épouvante.
