OPERA EN VERSION DE CONCERT / SALLE PLEYEL
On ne présente plus ni le drame lyrique de Verdi inspiré par Shakespeare et créé à la Scala en 1887 ni son plus célèbre interprète Roberto Alagna, depuis sa désormais légendaire prise de rôle au pied levé pour remplacer Plácido Domingo à l’Opéra de Los Angeles. Cette soirée ne propose ni une mise en scène de l’opéra, ni sa version de concert, mais un curieux « best of » d’airs et duos forcément magnifiques et célèbres, formant comme la lave en fusion d’un ouvrage incandescent, dont les protagonistes (et les auditeurs) plongent dans les tourments de la passion et de la jalousie… Roberto Alagna est magnifiquement entouré du baryton-basse russe Dmitri Hvorostovsky et de la soprano Inva Mula, avec le concours essentiel – tant la dimension orchestrale de l’ouvrage est une composante essentielle de sa puissance dramatique – de l’Orchestre National d’Île-de-France placé sous la conduite de l’expert Riccardo Frizza au pupitre, grand spécialiste de l’opéra italien.
