Entrer dans le cirque Romanès, c’est pousser doucement la porte d’un cirque artisanal, familial, sans chichis et sans complexe, loin des capharnaüms et autres bestiaires des cirques « Traditionnels ». Pas un cirque d’antan, non, mais un cirque qui puise dans ses racines tsiganes pour restituer l’atmosphère douce-amère, un brin nostalgique, du temps des gitans. Le chant et la musique occupent une place très importante dans le spectacle, que ce soit avec le violon du grand-père, ou la voix envoûtante de Délia. Place à l’émotion donc, plus qu’à la virtuosité sans âme : ici, on savoure avant tout l’intrépidité et la sensualité d’un chat, tout comme la simplicité et la beauté des femmes à la contorsion ou au trapèze. Le cirque Romanès est une invitation à se laisser aller, un voyage aux couleurs tsiganes, un temps suspendu pour s’évader et goûter un ailleurs envoûtant.
