« J’ai escaladé ces murs sur les ailes légères de l’amour : car les limites de pierre ne sauraient arrêter l’amour, et ce que l’amour peut faire, l’amour ose le tenter » lance Roméo à sa Juliette, défiant la fatalité des haines ancestrales qui déchirent les Montaigu et les Capulet. Si le drame de Shakespeare distille l’amer exil de l’amour tragique par l’étourdissante poésie du verbe, il ouvre pourtant l’espoir : l’élan fougueux de la jeunesse, sacrifié sur les brisants de la société, peut apporter la sagesse à l’âge adulte. Inspirée des amants de Vérone, la symphonie dramatique que Berlioz composa en 1839 dans les fièvres de la passion, brûle d’accents romantiques. La chorégraphe berlinoise Sasha Waltz s’empare aujourd’hui de cette œuvre magistrale entourée de quelques vingt danseurs, soixante-dix choristes et de l’orchestre de l’Opéra de Paris dirigé par Valery Gergiev. Les trois étoiles , Aurélie Dupont, Hervé Moreau et Wilfrid Romoli, donnent toute la puissance de leur art pour sertir la poésie dans la danse.
