Des textes de Rosa Luxemburg, des chansons écrites par Claire Diterzi (Leslie Kaplan signe les paroles de deux d’entre elles), des projections d’images du cinéaste Patrick Volve, des témoignages de personnalités liées à la vie intime ou politique de la militante communiste allemande assassinée en 1919… C’est une création musicale singulière, une forme « d’installation plastique et sonore » que présentent Marcial Di Fonzo Bo et Claire Diterzi sur l’île de la Barthelasse dans le cadre du festival Contre Courant. Guitare en main, accompagnée par Etienne Bonhomme à la batterie et à la machine à sons, par Cédric Chatelain au Hautbois et par Baptiste Germser au cor, l’auteure-compositrice-interprète s’inspire de la vie et des engagements de Rosa Luxembourg pour transmettre, dans une époque contemporaine en mal d’idéaux politiques, la force d’un esprit libre et audacieux.
Sur les traces des combats de Rosa Luxemburg
Rosa la Rouge n’a en effet rien d’une fresque biographique ou didactique qui se contenterait de retracer les différents chapitres de l’existence de Rosa Luxembourg. Souhaitant établir des liens entre le monde d’aujourd’hui et les combats de cette grande figure politique, Marcial Di Fonzo Bo a fait acte d’imagination pour « transposer l’esprit révolutionnaire de Rosa Luxemburg dans le glamour et l’humanité de Claire Diterzi, dans la douce rage de sa musique. » « Il s’agit d’une artiste atypique, poursuit le metteur en scène, une artiste dont l’univers va bien au-delà du monde de la chanson. Elle pense son art de manière large, ouverte, fait preuve d’une présence scénique inouïe, d’une personnalité très étrange, à la fois pleine de fragilité et de puissance. » Cette personnalité, Claire Diterzi la met aujourd’hui au service d’une femme qui la fascine. Une femme pour qui elle a inventé « un langage universel et infini », un langage touchant à la vie, à la mort, à la passion, à l’émotion.
