THEATRE MUSICAL – MUSIQUE CLASSIQUE / Théâtre Notre-Dame / mes Jean-Michel Fournereau
Rossini est un compositeur irrésistiblement théâtral. Sa production fourmille de chefs-d’œuvre lyriques, où la tension dramatique (et souvent drolatique) est portée par des crescendi d’anthologie. La vie même de Rossini appelle le théâtre : l’auteur du Barbier de Séville a cessé d’un jour à l’autre son activité de compositeur pour se consacrer à la… cuisine – d’où la fameuse recette du tournedos portant son nom. Il n’en fallait pas plus pour que naisse un projet de spectacle autour de ce compositeur, surnommé le Cygne de Pesaro. Rossini en secret est le fruit du travail de quatre chanteurs ( Sarah Breton, Elise Efremov, Cyrille Gautreau et Sébastien Monti) du Chœur Arsys, un ensemble vocal bourguignon de premier plan longtemps dirigé par Pierre Cao. Ces chanteurs interprètent tout au long du spectacle des extraits des Péchés de vieillesse, recueil délicieux de mélodies, dont on connaît notamment le fameux « Duo des chats ». Ils sont accompagnés par le pianiste Alexis Dubroca, sous la direction musicale de Mihaly Zeke, le nouveau chef d’Arsys. La mise en scène, signée Jean-Michel Fournereau, joue la carte du cinéma, s’inspirant de Fellini comme des Marx Brothers. Ambiance garantie – les spectateurs du premier rang auront même le loisir de déguster quelques spécialités gastronomiques « rossiniennes » !
