Jouer les passeurs, servir d’intermédiaire entre les artistes belges francophones et le public parisien : telle est la vocation du Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles qui, depuis 26 ans, présente à Paris les créateurs, jeunes ou moins jeunes, ayant déjà fait avec succès leurs premiers pas en Wallonie et à Bruxelles. Ainsi, du 12 au 16 octobre, le comédien Mohamed Ouachen et l’auteur-metteur en scène Dominique Bréda investiront la scène de la rue Quincampoix à travers leurs spectacles respectifs, deux propositions qui jouent à la fois la carte de la profondeur et de l’humour. La première (Rue du Croissant) est un monologue entre gaieté, espérances et désespérances au sein duquel Mohamed Ouachen incarne un kaléidoscope d’hommes et de femmes habitant la même rue d’un quartier populaire de Bruxelles. Il est question d’un cri mystérieux qui donnera corps à toutes sortes d’interprétations… La seconde proposition (Purgatoire) fait se rejoindre cinq comédiens sur scène (Jean-François Breuer, Anna Cervinka, Catherine Decrolier, Thomas Demarez et Odile Ramelot) et met en lumière les absurdités de notre quotidien. Dans cette comédie grinçante, Dominique Bréda a souhaité aborder « avec délice et cynisme » les grands thèmes de la philosophie : la vie, la connaissance, la religion, la vérité, la mort… Des thèmes à travers lesquels l’auteur et metteur en scène s’attache à « tourner en ridicule nos faux semblants et notre lâcheté ordinaire ».
