Le 15 janvier au Trianon, les pianistes Mikhail Rudy (musicien classique) et Misha Alperin (jazzman) s’emparent de pièces de compositeurs classiques (Schumann, Debussy, Chopin, Bach…) pour une expérience d’improvisation. « Nous nous sommes posés tous les deux beaucoup de questions : où va l’improvisation ? Pourquoi le jazz est-il devenu pratiquement le seul domaine réservé à l’improvisation ? » explique Mikhail Rudy. « Ce désir de transgression et cette expérience de la liberté peuvent se révéler une expérience très stimulante » conclut-il. Six jours plus tard, le violoncelle du chinois Jian Wang rencontre la guitare (à onze cordes) du Suédois Göran Söllscher dans un programme très varié, de Bach à Piazzolla, en passant par Villa-Lobos, Elgar ou Tchaikovski. Enfin, le jeune pianiste allemand Martin Stadtfeld retrouve ses amis du Festival Strings Lucerne avec lesquels il vient d’enregistrer un très beau disque de Concertos de Bach, lauréat 2007 du Echo Classical Award. Au programme, en concert le 28 janvier à Paris, les Concertos BWV 1052 et 1053, et deux Sinfonias pour cordes de Mendelssohn. Chaque concert est présenté par le journaliste Philippe Ungar.
