Théâtre Gérard Philipe – CDN de Saint-Denis / Texte, mise en scène et chorégraphie de Brigitte Seth et Roser Montlló Guberna
Depuis la création de leur compagnie Toujours Après Minuit en 1997, Brigitte Seth et Roser Monttló Guberna mêlent théâtre, danse et musique en vue d’atteindre un « mieux dire utopique ». Dans Salti, elles prennent pour base de leur recherche la tarentelle, danse populaire du Sud de l’Italie qui prend ses sources dans l’Antiquité méditerranéenne. Car non seulement c’est une danse réputée soigner tous les maux, mais la joie qu’elle donne au malade est contagieuse. Trois interprètes – Jim Couturier, Louise Hakim et Lisa Martinez –, incarnent trois enfants qui, pour contrer l’ennui d’une journée d’été, trouvent en eux les ressources de la tarentelle. Adressé au jeune public, leur théâtre chorégraphique se veut une initiation au rituel en passe de disparaître, mais surtout un encouragement à inventer des manières collectives de se réjouir, d’opposer aux tragédies en cours un fort message de vie.
