Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier / D’après Hector Malot / Mise en scène Léna Bréban
Rémi, baladé de familles en familles – dans lesquelles les liens du sang ne sont pas toujours les plus précieux – est le protagoniste d’une pièce pleine de rencontres, abordant de manière subtile les questions du deuil, du travail des enfants et des relations humaines. Loué par ses parents adoptifs à une troupe de saltimbanques, Rémi devient artiste, et entame une existence de vadrouille, faite d’espérances, de succès mais aussi de difficultés. Après Verte, qui explorait tendrement le « devenir adulte », Léna Bréban signe une nouvelle création pleine de promesses, à travers l’imaginaire du voyage et de l’aventure enfantine. « J’aime rompre avec les codes de jeu réaliste, élargir l’imaginaire et miser sur le rire » indique la metteuse en scène. Un chemin onduleux qu’une tournette matérialise, un théâtre qui se fabrique sous les yeux des spectateurs, et des univers burlesques qui se succèdent : du taudis insalubre de Garofoli, au fog londonien, Léna Bréban signe un hommage à la magie du théâtre.
