VIOLON ET PIANO / MAISON DE LA CULTURE DU JAPON A PARIS
Après des années d’apprentissage consacrée à la peinture, Sayaka Shoji choisit à l’âge de 12 ans de se consacrer uniquement au violon. Une décision qui lui ouvrira les portes d’une incroyable carrière, suite à son parcours auprès du diabolique professeur Zakhar Bron à la Hochschule für Musik de Cologne. Yuri Termikanov et Zubin Mehta furent les premiers grands chefs à croire en son talent qui, au disque chez Deutsche Grammophon et au concert à l’invitation des meilleurs orchestres (LSO, Philharmonique de Berlin, a conquis le monde entier. A Paris, dans l’intimité de l’auditorium de la Maison de la Culture du Japon, elle dialogue avec la pianiste française Suzana Bartal dans des œuvres de Prokofiev (Cinq mélodies op. 35 bis), Silvestrov (Post-scriptum), Brahms (Sonate n° 2 pour violon et piano op. 100) et Bartók (Sonate n° 1 pour violon et piano Sz 75) avec, pour cette dernière partition et pour la première fois à Paris, la présentation de sa propre création vidéo, réalisée pour accompagner ou plutôt fusionner avec la musique. Une œuvre proposée dans le cadre de son projet Synesthesia, qui la fait renouer avec ses premières amours pour les arts visuels.
