FESTIVAL / ART DE RUE / MULHOUSE
Loin de seulement diffuser des spectacles « prêts à l’emploi », le festival des arts de la rue à Mulhouse, accessible aux petits et aux grands et entièrement gratuit, veut « susciter des aventures communes et les faire partager au plus grand nombre ». Les arts de la rue sont particulièrement à l’aise dans cette ville à échelle humaine, qui offre de nombreux lieux adaptés aux actes artistiques. La programmation pluridisciplinaire fait cohabiter des projets portés par des artistes confirmés, des œuvres du répertoire, et des spectacles en mûrissement, développés par des créateurs émergents.
Pour un art arpenteur du rêve
« La tête dans les étoiles et les pieds sur terre » : tel est le slogan de l’édition 2017 qui espère « prendre un peu de hauteur poétique au cœur de l’été, telle une bravade à la loi de la gravité ». Voltigeurs, montgolfières et corps suspendus défieront le ciel, pendant que les bateleurs urbains égayeront le pavé. Plateforme de diffusion, espace d’expérimentation et d’accompagnement, maillon essentiel de la fabrique de la ville et du vivre ensemble, temps d’échanges et de sensibilisation esthétique, espace de collaboration locale et européenne, le festival réussit la synthèse d’une volonté poétique et politique qui donne tout son sens et toute son importance à la culture et aux arts.
