En attendant la sortie d’un audacieux et prometteur enregistrement de l’intégrale des cinq concertos de Beethoven (promis pour fin 2010 chez Mirare), Shani Diluka prolonge sa résidence à la Maison de la Musique de Nanterre. Musicienne érudite et amoureuse des correspondances entre musique et poésie, elle nous plonge dans le monde des Romances sans paroles et dans la plus secrète Sonate écossaise de Mendelssohn en les rapprochant des textes de Verlaine (qui a écrit des Romances sans paroles en hommage à Mendelssohn) – et de William Shakespeare, dont les poèmes ont souvent inspiré Beethoven, également au programme avec la Sonate "Appassionata". Un programme « sur mesure » pour cette captivante héritière de l’art pianistique allemand, ancienne élève de Leon Fleisher et Marie-Françoise Bucquet, respectivement ex-élèves eux-mêmes d’Arthur Schnabel et Wilhelm Kempff. « L’école allemande reste ainsi présente, école qui selon moi emmène l’artiste bien au-delà de son ego, et symbolise la relation entre l’être et l’univers » confie Shani Diluka.
