Théâtre de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines / Chorégraphie Michèle Anne De Mey
Première grande pièce de la chorégraphe belge, formée chez Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Sinfonia Eroica donnait un nouveau souffle à la danse contemporaine avec son lyrisme, son harmonie avec la musique classique, et son emportement dans le mouvement des neuf danseurs, à rebours des attendus de l’époque. C’est probablement pourquoi elle reste si intemporelle. Oubliant toute narration mais tissant avec subtilité des rapports amoureux entre les couples virevoltants, et un équilibre entre une certaine trivialité du quotidien et les grandes envolées du groupe. Avec une danse fluide, faussement désinvolte, et une énergie folle, on passe de jeux de séduction à des cavalcades insensées, des portés acrobatiques aux glissades mélancoliques, parsemées de moments suspendus, délicats et mystérieux. Le final d’une force peu commune mêlé à une bonne humeur contagieuse entraîne le spectateur dans ce tourbillon spectaculaire.
