L’écriture de l’auteur et metteur en scène Vincent Ecrepont puise aux sources du réel, éclairant des paroles habituellement invisibles, traversées notamment par l’épreuve de la maladie (La chambre 100), du deuil (Les Interrompus), ou par la confrontation au vieillissement de ses proches (Etre là). A la Comédie de Picardie, où il a présenté Votre Maman de Jean-Claude Grumberg ou Les Bâtisseurs d’empire de Boris Vian, il crée Sois un homme, une nouvelle partition théâtrale nourrie par des entretiens avec des hommes de cultures et âges différents ainsi que des échanges entre lycéens et retraités. La pièce éclaire les thèmes de la rencontre amoureuse, la parentalité, la relation aux femmes ou les modèles éducatifs. Elle interroge particulièrement le temps de l’adolescence, moment de transition où le corps et la relation aux parents se transforment. Sur le plateau, trois comédiens de diverses générations alternent épisodes lors desquels ils dialoguent entre eux ou avec le public, et séquences de jeu incarné. Avec Teddy Bogaert, Sylvain Savard et Laurent Stachnick.
