Pour Elsa Guérin et Martin Palisse, co-responsables artistiques du Cirque Bang Bang, le jonglage est une façon de mettre en jeu, par le biais du travail avec les objets, notre rapport au monde environnant. SomeBODY, leur création 2010, est une nouvelle étape de ce cheminement, qui repose sur un intense travail perceptif : costumes, perruques et accessoires sont autant de contraintes, qui imposent d’inventer de nouveaux mouvements, ou encore de jongler à l’aveugle… Les gestes se font alors plus sensibles : c’est par les mains qu’il faut voir, par le rapport au sol qu’il faut gérer l’équilibre, par la sensation du poids que l’on parviendra à maîtriser le parcours des objets dans l’espace… Les techniques de la danse prennent alors une part fondamentale dans cette démarche. Les deux artistes ont ainsi fait appel au chorégraphe Hervé Diasnas. Ce dernier a notamment instauré une pratique de « vols chorégraphiques », qu’il enseigne régulièrement en France et à l’étranger en vue de performances de groupe inspirées du vol des oiseaux. Avec lui, les jongleurs du Cirque Bang Bang ont imaginé un prolongement circassien à cette pratique : le vol jonglé. Le jonglage devient alors une pratique de groupe, synchrone et partagée. La fluidité comme être-ensemble.
