Quartier Luna – Théâtre Buffon / Écriture et jeu de Warren Zavatta
Warren Zavatta avait disparu. Pendant plusieurs années, après le succès de son premier spectacle personnel, Ce soir dans votre ville, l’artiste de cirque, musicien, chanteur et comédien s’était retiré de la scène. Était-ce pour couler des jours tranquilles, à l’abri de ses fans ? Ou pour ajouter une nouvelle corde à son arc déjà bien armé ? Ni l’un ni l’autre, nous apprend l’artiste dans son nouveau seul en scène, Sortie de piste. La confession qu’il nous fait est riche en rebondissements. Il nous raconte ses dérapages et ses tourments. Poétiquement incorrect, il nous livre notamment son expérience de la prison.
De la piste à la prison
Petit-fils du célèbre clown Achille Zavatta, Warren a hérité de sa fibre comique. C’est avec un humour, une autodérision délicieuse qu’il nous dit dans Sortie de piste comment il est passé de la réussite à la prison. « Un triomphe la veille au soir et le lendemain en prison. Si ça c’est pas de la performance d’acteur ! », ironise-t-il par exemple. Il est aussi question d’hôpital psychiatrique dans ce spectacle où tout est vrai, à commencer par la relation qui unit le clown-comédien au spectateur. Par son ton de confidence, Warren Zavaatta fait de son public non pas un simple témoin, mais un acteur de son histoire qui n’est pas de tout repos !
