Théâtre des Lila’s / texte Guillaume Poix / interprétation Arlette Desmots
Le dispositif est singulier. Installée dans une pièce attenante à la salle de spectacle, Arlette Desmots lit Soudain Romy Schneider. Sa voix est retransmise au public, plongé dans le noir, par le biais d’enceintes. « Il s’agit pour moi de me mettre entièrement au service du texte, explique la comédienne, d’entrer pleinement dans sa chair pour mieux en partager la richesse, la profondeur. (…) Je me fais passeuse des mots de Guillaume Poix, ainsi que des voix des acteurs et actrices qui ont joué avec [Romy Schneider] ou des rôles qu’elle a interprétés. L’imaginaire du public est sollicité par l’évocation des situations, des images cinématographiques, par les changements de volume, de rythme, les modulations qui s’opèrent dans ma voix… » Au fil des séquences, à travers ce texte « à la lisière du théâtre, de la parodie et du roman », Arlette Desmots cherche à nous fait découvrir « une Romy Schneider inconnue, plurielle et saisissante ».
