Tête pensante de la compagnie Des Equilibres, François Berdeaux est un touche-à-tout qui provoque, dans ses spectacles, des rencontres improbables autour de la danse, du cirque et du théâtre. S’il se considère avant tout comme un metteur en scène, c’est qu’il sait mettre en synergie les multiples facettes de chacun de ses interprètes, choisis pour leur polymorphie et leur enthousiasme à se fondre dans le zapping effréné de Berdeaux. Pour Speed, le constat d’une société en profonde mutation, tant au niveau des communications que des relations entre les personnes, sert de point de départ. La vitesse devient le diktat d’un monde qui ne cesse de s’accélérer. L’emprise du phénomène sur les corps bouleverse notre relation au temps et déchaîne l’espace du plateau. Sur scène, François Berdeaux s’amuse avec les accessoires et la scénographie pour mieux provoquer les surprises.
