Théâtre de la Bastille / chansons Bertrand Belin / texte et mes Marc Lainé
Né de la rencontre entre Marc Lainé et le chanteur-auteur-compositeur Bertrand Belin, Spleenorama relate l’histoire d’un groupe de rock dont les membres se retrouvent, quinze ans après s’être séparés, à l’occasion du décès de l’un d’entre eux. « J’avais envie d’écrire une fable sur la fraternité et sur le renoncement, confie Marc Lainé, qui signe le texte, la mise en scène, la scénographie et les costumes du spectacle. Dans cette pièce, je cherche à comprendre comment on accepte l’échec, je parle de la brutalité avec laquelle on apprend à renoncer. Le groupe de rock dont il est question (…) est évidemment une métaphore. Il représente tout ce qu’on laisse derrière soi en vieillissant, par choix ou par défaut : la rage et l’utopie, la naïveté de l’engagement. » Poursuivant son travail sur le « théâtre en musique », Marc Lainé mêle ici réflexions personnelles sur le temps qui passe et archétypes de la mythologie du rock.
