ALFORTVILLE / PHILHARMONIE DE PARIS / SYMPHONIQUE
C’est l’un des programmes symphoniques les plus inattendus de la saison. Sous le titre « Sporting Club », peut-être enthousiasmé par la récente attribution des Jeux Olympiques à Paris, l’Orchestre National d’Île-de-France rassemble une série de partitions inspirées par le sport, voire comprenant une prestation sportive ! C’est le jeune chef français Julien Masmondet, ancien assistant remarqué de Paavo Järvi à l’Orchestre de Paris, qui dirige ce programme musclé partagé entre les références au tennis du poème dansé Jeux de Debussy, Rugby d’Arthur Honegger, évocation selon les mots du compositeur des « attaques et ripostes du jeu, du rythme et de la couleur d’un match au stade de Colombes… » , et une partition très surprenante de l’américain Andy Akiho (né en 1979), Ricochet, conçu comme un concerto pour violon, percussions et… ping-pong, dans lequel les échanges de percussionnistes-pongistes, au centre de la scène, s’intègrent à l’interprétation musicale comme éléments percussifs. Spectaculaire ! In The Circle…, pour orchestre, œuvre lauréate du concours de composition Île de créations 2018 de Tetsuya Yamamoto et Rebonds B de Xenakis sont aussi au programme.
