Théâtre du Petit Saint-Martin
Devant la projection muette, en fond de scène, du film Rocky III, Clotilde Hesme nous raconte au micro l’histoire de Lise, personnage central d’une nouvelle de l’écrivaine Emmanuèle Bernheim (1955-2017). Cette secrétaire médicale âgée de 25 ans, après avoir vu le troisième opus du blockbuster interprété par Sylvester Stallone, décide de suivre l’exemple du boxeur Rocky Balboa qui remonte sur le ring. Elle remet en jeu le cours de son existence en se lançant pour défi de reprendre ses études de médecine. Accompagnée en direct par le créateur sonore et musicien Pascal Sangla, la comédienne donne corps et voix à un spectacle entre « poétique du combat, éloge de la persévérance et nostalgie assumée de la contre-culture pop des années 1980 ».
Poétique du combat
Dans un dispositif épuré, en sweat rouge et jean, la comédienne prend la parole, donne à voir la vie de Lise « avec l’énergie d’une chanteuse rock », en se faisant à la fois personnage et conteuse, interrompue parfois par des personnages cocasses interprétés par Pascal Sangla. Au fil d’une représentation où s’entrelacent énergie, humour et délicatesse, Stallone se présente « comme le récit d’un sursis de vie vivace, électrique et incroyablement drôle. Le chant du cygne mais dans sa version rock. »
