ATHENEE / TENOR ET PINAO
Son nom semble le faire surgir de pages oubliées de La Recherche du temps perdu… Le jeune ténor Stanislas de Barbeyrac, qui vient de signer un enregistrement de lieder avec orchestre de Schubert sous la direction de Laurence Equilbey (l’album est intitulé Nacht und Träume), est l’invité du Théâtre de l’Athénée pour un récital exceptionnel. Retour sur une scène familière au cœur d’une saison haletante faite de nombreux débuts en tous genres et souvent des plus prestigieux : en septembre, il a chanté pour la première fois à l’opéra de Zurich ; en décembre, il a fait ses débuts à la Monnaie de Bruxelles dans le rôle du Chevalier de la Force des Dialogues des Carmélites ; en janvier, il vient de chanter son premier Pelléas à l’Opéra de Bordeaux avant de revenir à Poulenc en février pour ses premiers pas Avenue Montaigne… Au milieu de cet agenda surbooké, il s’offre cette parenthèse intimiste où la voix peut s’aventurer dans des recherches subtiles de couleurs nouvelles, loin des contraintes d’efficacité qu’imposent les grandes productions d’opéra. Dans ce programme résolument romantique et sentimental intitulé « A la bien-aimée lointaine », il se partage entre Beethoven (An die ferne Geliebte) et Berlioz (Les Nuits d’été). Un récital important d’une jeune voix en pleine ascension.
