ECAM Le Kremlin-Bicêtre / Chor. Edmond Russo et Shlomi Tuizer
Voilà tout juste 20 ans qu’Edmond Russo, issu du Ballet de l’Opéra de Lyon, et Shlomi Tuizer, danseur de la Batsheva Dance Company, ont fondé leur propre compagnie Affari Esteri (Affaires Etrangères), un nom qui signifiait pour eux l’importance de réunir plusieurs nationalités en son sein comme autant de points de vue sur le monde. Christophe Martin, directeur de Micadanses et du festival Faits d’Hiver, suit et programme la compagnie depuis ses débuts, témoignant d’une fidélité sans faille. Il faut dire que cette équipe d’interprètes, porteuse d’une relation essentielle à l’écriture et à la musicalité qui ne lâche jamais le travail du corps, du mouvement dans toute sa richesse expressive, avait tout pour lui plaire. C’est encore le cas avec SubRosa (Sous la Rose), une expression latine désignant le secret, le sous-jacent, pièce dansée par un quintette féminin. Inspirée par les tableaux de la peintre américaine Agnès Martin (1912-2004) qui travaille sur une nouvelle forme d’abstraction nimbée d’émotions furtives, et par les troublantes photos de femmes de Francesca Woodman, la création distille une trame temporelle parallèle, révèle ou dissimule son propos.
