Villeneuve en Scène / librement inspiré de Sophocle/ adaptation Valérie Bournet et Philippe Car / mes Philippe Car
Cette appropriation de la tragédie de Sophocle par la Compagnie Voyages imaginaires dirigée par le metteur en scène Philippe Car a été largement saluée par le public et la critique. En restant au plus près du texte, Séraphin, le Clown conteur de ce mythe incarné par Valérie Bourdet, joue tous les rôles, y compris celui du chœur, entouré de deux comédiens, musiciens et manipulateurs. Sa performance prend appui sur une interprétation qui tire toute sa force de sa limpidité : « Antigone ne triomphe pas du pouvoir, elle ne le combat même pas. Simplement, elle lui résiste. Elle ne lui laisse aucune prise. Mieux, en se suicidant, elle mutile sa prétention à la toute puissance. Créon ment quand il dit à Antigone que sa mort lui suffit. C’est sa vie qu’il voulait. Et il ne l’aura pas ». La mise en scène de Philippe Car mêle l’humour et le merveilleux au tragique, « parce que c’est comme ça que nous aimons raconter des histoires ». A cette signature, dont le chatoyant décor allégorique se fait notamment le témoin, s’ajoute un vrai travail de direction d’acteurs et un jeu subtil sur les différents modes de narration.
