Sur un air deux rassemble trois duos comme trois variations dans les relations homme / femme en lien avec un contexte mélodique et une époque. C’est d’abord la traversée de l’insouciance des années 60 et 70 qui marque l’écriture du premier opus, créé en 2010. Légèreté, humour et sensualité s’égrènent au fil des tubes de la chanson française que l’on reconnaît. C’est une tonalité plus grave et plus rock qui prend corps par la suite, avant de laisser place à celles et ceux qui font la richesse de la scène française d’aujourd’hui, dans une recherche plus ténue entre le texte et le geste, entre la poésie et la danse. Les duos ont tout d’abord été expérimentés dans la légèreté de leur format pour des espaces du quotidien non dédiés à la danse. Aujourd’hui, il s’agit pour le chorégraphe d’en proposer une version intégrale pour la scène, qui met au jour le cheminement des personnages à travers le temps et une écriture modelée par le rythme et le texte.
