Théâtre de Suresnes Jean Vilar / Festival
Nouvellement nommée à la tête du Théâtre de Suresnes Jean Vilar, Caroline Occelli inscrit son action dans les pas de son prédécesseur Olivier Meyer. Mais cela ne l’empêche pas d’imaginer quelques évolutions. En témoigne la prochaine édition de Suresnes Cités Danse, la première sous sa direction, qui entretient de belles fidélités mais déploie également des propositions inédites. Ce festival qu’elle a souhaité pétillant et participatif, afin de lutter contre la morosité de notre époque et d’inventer du collectif pacifié, s’ouvrira avec la création de Portrait de Mehdi Kerkouche, une photo de famille pop, sensible et pleine d’humour. Une gaité poétique dont ne se départiront pas Pierre Rigal et les frères Ben Haïm en présentant respectivement Hasard et FACÉTIES. Et si des ateliers pour tous seront proposés pendant toute la durée du festival et même en préfiguration, c’est lors de sa clôture que l’esprit de partage voulu par Caroline Occelli trouvera son apogée avec La Boom des Boomboxers, une invitation à danser pour parents et enfants imaginée par MC Da Titcha et DJ Maclarnaque, et le Battle SCD – une première à Suresnes Cités Danse – orchestrée de main experte par la Cie Flies.
Féminité et métissage des disciplines
À noter également qu’un week-end sera intégralement consacré au féminin. On pourra y découvrir dans la salle Jean Vilar Affranchies, création pour cinq danseuses d’Amalia Salle et dans la salle Aéroplane les trois pièces de la jeune pépite Leïla Ka : Pode Ser, C’est toi qu’on adore et Se faire la belle. Last but not least, le métissage des disciplines et des esthétiques, cher à Suresnes Cités Danse depuis son origine, sera cette fois encore à l’œuvre. Ainsi dans Bounce Back, Christina Towle fusionnera contemporain, hip-hop et basketball, dans Home Nicolas Sannier nous invitera dans son univers à l’orée du cirque et de la danse quand Fouad Boussouf entremêlera dans Cordes & Âmes gestes, musiques et mots.
