Théâtre du Balcon / Chorégraphie Octavio de la Roza
Après son Voulez-vous danser, Gainsbourg ?, en 2011, où il dansait la vie du célèbre auteur-compositeur-interprète, voici le retour d’Octavio de la Roza avec un duo intitulé Tango mon amour. Le chorégraphe, qui a acquis ses lettres de noblesse en tant que danseur au sein du Béjart Ballet Lausanne, a d’abord été un gamin des rues d’Argentine, avant de découvrir, au cours d’une des ses tournées, celui qui deviendra son mentor. Aujourd’hui, c’est tout naturellement qu’il revisite une culture chorégraphique qu’il avait jusqu’alors enfouie : celle du tango. Côté bande-son, on reconnaîtra bien sûr les musiques d’Astor Piazzolla et la modernité de Gotan Project, mais du côté du corps, s’incarneront des figures plus abstraites, charnelles, passant du désir à la passion, sans oublier la souffrance, le désespoir, bref, toutes les facettes de l’amour.
