« Ça, c’est votre espace pour un moment, votre territoire », lance Yannick Jaulin au public, désignant le siège sur lequel chacun est assis, la salle que les spectateurs réunis partageront le temps d’une représentation. Une représentation à une voix, un corps, ceux d’un artiste particulièrement touchant, un fils de paysans qui s’est inventé un destin de conteur, un « terrien » qui s’est mué en poète, qui a réussi à conquérir un territoire pour lui hautement improbable : celui de la scène. Après J’ai pas fermé l’œil et Menteur, Yannick Jaulin donne suite aux chroniques de vie qui composaient ses précédents spectacles à travers une forme assez atypique d’autofiction théâtrale. Réinvestissant ses origines vendéennes, son enfance, ses rêves, ses doubles, ses fantômes…, il questionne les notions de cheminement, d’apprentissage et de territoires (tant intérieurs que cadastraux), interroge la dualité ontologique qui, depuis Caïn et Abel, écartèle l’homme entre sédentarité et nomadisme, refuge du chez-soi et appel de l’ailleurs. Un jour, l’auteur-comédien a lui-même succombé à cet appel impérieux, en entrant dans les rangs de l’Ordre du Temple solaire.
Les démons et merveilles d’une escapade initiatique
Et c’est aussi cette expérience, dont il avoue ne pas s’être « sorti de manière catastrophique », que Yannick Jaulin souhaite sonder grâce à son spectacle. De façon contenue, allusive, extrêmement délicate. Comme sur la courbe zigzagante d’une escapade initiatique, il fouille ainsi les béances intimes qui ont pu l’amener à vouloir trouver une réponse toute faite à la question du monde. A la question de l’homme. A la question de la place dévolue à chacun. Terrien n’apporte évidemment aucune explication à ces interrogations. Donnant corps à une représentation à la fois simple et recherchée (la mise en scène de Frédéric Faye utilise la vidéo de façon réellement pertinente), faisant se côtoyer drôlerie, sensibilité, délires hallucinatoires, brefs éclats de gravité, Yannick Jaulin explore l’idée du morcellement et évite le poncif de la solennité dramatique. Car c’est un spectacle très joyeux qu’il nous invite à partager. Un spectacle joyeux et poétique qui veille à raconter des histoires pour que nous gardions les yeux grands ouverts, à raconter le monde pour qu’il ne disparaisse pas.
