Au cœur d’une programmation axée sur les cultures du monde, les soirées Tête à Tête creusent la question de l’identité et des origines à partir d’un même terreau : celui de la danse urbaine. Les trois danseurs que l’on nous dévoile ici en face à face ont d’intéressants parcours personnels, qui les conduisent aujourd’hui à interroger leur mémoire. Yiphun Chiem la première, quand elle convoque sur scène les danses ou la mythologie du Cambodge de ses grands-parents. Un choc culturel qui n’élude pas les traumatismes de la guerre, de l’exil, portés hauts et fort par la personnalité détonante de la danseuse. Plus intérieur dans sa démarche, Bouba Landrille Tchouda (compagnon de route d’Accrorap) préfère s’appuyer sur un roman, Le dernier survivant de la caravane d’Etienne Goyemidé, pour incarner la souffrance du peuple africain. Son corps se plie et se déploie dans des états de danse qui témoignent de la soumission dans l’esclavage. Le danseur et chorégraphe Karim Amghar se sert quant à lui de la danse pour faire ressurgir l’indicible de ses souvenirs.
