Elle avait tellement piqué notre curiosité avec Ah/ha et We’re pretty fucking far from okay ! La chorégraphe flamande a démontré qu’elle avait plus d’un tour dans son sac, auteure de pièces pouvant creuser un point de vue unique en l’épurant, le déconstruisant, pour n’en tirer que l’essence. Tout en gardant la ligne directrice qui la conduit à traiter de l’humain du point de vue de ses sentiments, ce qui rend sa démarche d’autant plus parlante… et troublante ! Aujourd’hui, Lisbeth Gruwez a choisi la méditation comme point de départ de son travail, dans le défi d’immerger le public lui-même dans ce type d’expérience. Comment l’ici et maintenant de l’état méditatif peut-il être transposé à la danse ? L’emploi d’un grand groupe de danseurs aura pour effet de démultiplier l’unicité du corps pour se considérer davantage comme un tout. Un tout vibrant sur les nappes du design sonore de Maarten Van Cauwenberghe, Elko Blijweert et Bjorn Eriksson.
