C’est l’histoire d’un pommier qui sait qu’il va mourir. Mais avant de retourner à la terre dont il a surgi, il s’efforce de produire, pour la dernière fois, des fleurs et des fruits plus beaux que ceux qu’il a déjà fait naître. Las ! Les oiseaux dévorent toutes les pommes, sauf une, pomme amoureuse de son pommier, qui s’accroche à lui tout l’automne et jusqu’à l’hiver, lorsqu’est venu le temps du trépas de son arbre, qui disparaît, paralysé par le givre. Pour raconter cette parabole de la condition humaine et de la transmission qui nous console d’être poussière promise à la poussière, Chiara Collet sera a la fois narratrice et arbre : ses bras deviendront branches sur lesquelles chanteront des oiseaux. « Par un système de métempsycose à combinaisons, un vieux procédé optique utilisé dans la magie », le merveilleux va naître sur scène et la comédienne se faire arbre à songes. Et comme toujours dans les spectacles de Jean Lambert-wild, le phalanstère des créateurs réunis autour de lui fait éclore le meilleur de leurs talents conjugués pour créer une œuvre totale.
