Ce trio frondeur et insolent de jeunesse a été révélé lors de la dernière édition du festival Orléans Jazz qui l’a distingué comme premier lauréat de son Tremplin 2011 devant un jury admiratif présidé par le pianiste Laurent de Wilde. La musique savante et vivante de ce triangle décomplexé, ouvert à l’improvisation libre comme au lyrisme le plus chambriste, s’appuie sur une formule instrumentale rare et audacieuse : violon avec Théo Ceccaldi, le leader, guitare électrique avec Guillaume Arnine et violoncelle avec Valentin Ceccaldi. La moyenne d’âge du groupe n’excède pas 25 ans… le jazz français en marche ! Le premier album du groupe sort à l’occasion de ces deux concerts parisiens, le premier « rue des Lombards », comme il se doit, le second, proposé dans le cadre de l’exposition consacrée aux sculptures de Georg Baselitz, au Musée d’art moderne où l’on est toujours heureux de voir le jazz repointer le bout de son nez.
