TANGO CONTEMPORAIN / NOISY-LE-SEC
Guitariste et compositeur, parfois alternativement (il a posé sa guitare quelques années avant de la reprendre), Tomas Gubitsch livre dans le cadre de sa résidence au Théâtre des Bergeries le dernier volet de son cycle Tango d’Ulysse. L’œuvre peut se lire comme un hommage à l’expérience de l’exil, propice au retour sur soi autant qu’à la rencontre. « J’ai toujours considéré que l’exil pouvait être une sorte de situation privilégiée. Particulièrement lorsque l’on est musicien. Pour cette création, j’ai la chance d’être entouré par des artistes et amis rencontrés en Europe, qu’ils soient originaires comme moi d’Argentine, ou bien autochtones de la très exotique France » explique Gubitsch. Musicien pluriel par excellence, circulant avec brio entre tango contemporain, musiques improvisées, langage classique et rock (ses premières amours), Tomas Gubitsch s’entoure dans ce projet de musiciens chers à son cœur : Oswaldo Calo (piano), Juanjo Mosalini (bandonéon) et Jean-Paul Céléa (contrebasse), mais aussi Vincent Segal (violoncelle) et Sébastien Surel (violon), avec lesquels il vient de créer le trio « Surel, Segal & Gubitsch ».
