Elle est seule sur scène, dans la petite salle — Roland-Topor — du Théâtre du Rond-Point, assise à une table, face au public. Elle est là pour chanter et pour dire, laissant à cette occasion apparaître sur son visage de ces sourires, de ces regards singuliers, de ces expressions espiègles, aiguës, qui piquent votre curiosité et conquièrent en un instant plus que votre intérêt, votre totale attention. Devant elle, un tas de feuilles volantes noircies de mots et de portées, de notes de musique, feuilles dont Donatienne Michel-Dansac va se saisir une à une au fil d’une performance éclair en tout point remarquable. Les mots sont d’Olivier Cadiot (qui sera, avec le metteur en scène Christoph Marthaler, artiste associé à l’édition 2010 du Festival d’Avignon). Ils forment des fragments de textes que l’écrivain définit comme des « timbres-poste », fragments qui viennent s’intercaler à la manière de « brefs inserts déstabilisateurs », de « pensées monomaniaques » entre les onze morceaux pour voix seule (six Tourbillons, cinq Calmes plats, pièces initialement conçues pour une partition de concert) composés en 1989 et 1992 par Georges Aperghis.
Une performance pour voix seule d’un grand raffinement
Phonèmes chantés, syllabes vocalisées, jeux de langage, émissions de sons, ruptures continuelles qui font répondre les mots aux notes et les notes aux mots : le spectacle conçu et mis en scène par le compositeur grec échappe à tout esprit de sérieux pour composer des matériaux musicaux et poétiques d’une grande richesse, d’un grand raffinement. Facétieuse et énigmatique, Donatienne Michel-Dansac donne ici naissance à une surprenante figure féminine. Une figure trouble, pleine de charme et d’humour, dont les soliloques, les échappées mélodiques et les attitudes (captées en direct par le biais de deux caméras retransmettant, sur grands écrans et en gros plans, différentes perspectives de son visage — filtrées, surexposées…) s’affirment, en dehors de toute considération psychologique, comme autant d’appels et de propositions lancés à notre imaginaire. Création éminemment joyeuse, Tourbillons s’interroge à plusieurs reprises sur l’idée de bien-être, sur le chemin susceptible de mener au bonheur. « Qu’est-ce que dit Dieu ? Il dit descendez dans le jardin… », lance malicieusement Donatienne Michel-Dansac. Descendez avec elle, au plus près d’une voix et d’une présence qui ne devraient pas manquer de vous enthousiasmer.
