C’est à l’initiative de l’association Lire c’est vivre que Mohamed Kacimi a mené des ateliers d’écriture à la maison d’arrêt des femmes de Fleury-Mérogis. Sur la demande du Studio-Théâtre de Stains, l’écrivain s’est inspiré de cette expérience pour écrire Tous mes rêves partent de Gare d’Austerlitz, pièce pour six comédiennes mêlant l’univers d’On ne badine pas avec l’amour au quotidien carcéral. « J’aime la nécessité de Mohamed de prendre en compte le réel pour créer, confie la metteure en scène Marjorie Nakache. La simplicité avec laquelle ces femmes parlent de leurs vies particulières rejoint les thèmes universels, les mêmes qu’Eschyle dénonçait dans Les Suppliantes : la violence, l’inégalité, le machisme... » Des thèmes à travers lesquels Mohamed Kacimi cherche à remettre en causes certaines idées reçues. Et à nous amener à porter un regard plus aigu sur les réalités du monde.
