ACCORDEON, PIANO ET VIOLON / SALLE COLONNE
Le continent musical sud-américain reste incroyablement méconnu par les musiciens classiques. Même la musique de son plus grand héros, Astor Piazzolla, continue d’être sous-estimée et peu programmée, par exemple dans les saisons d’orchestre. On pourrait en dire autant de son compatriote Alberto Ginastera ou, plus près de nous, de Dino Saluzzi. L’excellent Trio Astoria, composé de Félicien Brut (accordéon), Brigitte Coissard (piano) et Nina Skopek (violon), a choisi de vouer son destin et projet musical au grand Astor, révélé à lui-même, on le sait, par Nadia Boulanger qui l’encourage à créer le Nuevo Tango : “Astor, tu ne dois jamais abandonner ton instrument, écris pour lui, crée un nouveau style” lui conseille-t-elle. Il entendra son message et cela changera sa vie. Le premier enregistrement du Trio Astoria sort à l’occasion de ce concert.
