Ce programme intitulé Ré-Générations mêle écriture contemporaine et improvisations avec en point d’orgue la création mondiale d’une œuvre de Jean-Louis Agobet commandée pour le Trio de Clarinettes par Selmer France. « La particularité de cette pièce est d’être écrite pour un trio jouant de divers instruments de la famille de l’instrument… L’idée simple de la pièce est de savoir comment la musique peut se créer à partir de petits embryons musicaux de petites cellules parfaitement identifiables, se ré-générant dans leurs dérives multiples entre les trois clarinettistes » souligne le compositeur. Les clarinettes d’Armand Angster, Sylvain Kassap et Jean-Marc Holz qui composent le trio aborderont aussi, tour à tour en solo, des œuvres de Georges Aperghis (Simulacre IV, pour clarinette basse), Bernard Cavanna (Goutte d’or Blues, pour clarinettes et sons fixés) et Pascal Dusapin (If, pour clarinette).
