Investissant le Théâtre de l’Epée de Bois, lieu chargé de la mémoire d’un théâtre de création et de compagnonnage, La Mandarine blanche, dirigée par Alain Batis, et Hic et Nunc, dirigé par Stanislas Grassian, redécouvrent l’esprit d’aventure qui fut celui de la Cartoucherie à ses débuts. Autour des thèmes de la recherche du père, de l’exil, de l’émigration et de la quête du bonheur, ces artistes renouvellent leur désir automnal de création et de rencontre, sous l’œil bienveillant et attentif de Jean-Claude Penchenat. Ludovic Longelin et Myriam Tanant sont les deux auteurs associés de cette édition 2008 dont le fil rouge est celui de la création contemporaine. « Créations, conférences, lectures et stages nous réuniront dans un échange singulier pour parler du monde et des hommes. », affirment Alain Batis et Stanislas Grassian, soutenus pour cette deuxième édition par le succès professionnel et public de la première, l’an dernier.
Entrelacs de créations et de découvertes
La Mandarine Blanche présente, du 10 au 26 septembre, Face de cuillère de Lee Hall, avec la vibrante Laetitia Poulalion, et, du 30 septembre au 29 octobre, Yaacobi et Leidental, fresque métaphysique d’Hanokh Levin, deux pièces mises en scène par Alain Batis. Le collectif Hic et Nunc présente, du 26 septembre au 26 octobre, … Alias le bonheur, de Ludovic Longelin, quête clownesque du bonheur mise en scène par Stanislas Grassian. Jean-Claude Penchenat présente Atelier les mères et les fils (atelier du 22 septembre au 5 octobre restitué au public les 3, 4 et 5 octobre) et Bar franco-italien, histoire de l’immigration italienne en France écrite par Myriam Tanant (du 31 octobre au 2 novembre). Des lectures et des mises en espace autour des deux auteurs associés sont organisées pendant toute la durée du festival et celui-ci accueille, en plus des créations qu’il verra naître, sept spectacles : Le Mandat, de Nikolaï Erdman, mis en scène par Stéphane Douret, Lettre au père, de Kafka, mis en scène par Daniel Proia, Houria, de Karim Abdelaziz, mis en scène par Jean-Louis Mercuzot, Le Langue-à-langue des chiens de roche, de Daniel Danis, mis en scène par Maxime Leroux, Carnet d’enfance, de et avec Jacques Courtès, Un Spectacle de trop ?, écrit et mis en scène par René Fix et Un Jeu d’enfant, de Martin Walser, mis en scène par Julie Timmerman. Enfin, le 12 octobre à 14h30, Les Klez Têtes organisent un concert de musique klezmer et le 19 octobre à 14h30, une rencontre est organisée avec la traductrice Laurence Sendrowicz autour de l’œuvre d’Hanokh Levin.
