Théâtre des Célestins / d’après Odön von Horváth / mes Simon Delétang
Ecrit quelques mois avant la mort accidentelle de son auteur, Odön von Horváth, en 1938, Un Fils de notre temps relate le destin tragique d’un jeune chômeur qui décide de s’engager dans l’armée pour « ne plus avoir faim et devenir quelqu’un ». « Ce récit est pour moi à l’origine de mon rapport à l’histoire et à la littérature, déclare Simon Delétang. Comment un auteur évoquant une destinée individuelle, en vient à parler du monde, un monde effrayant face auquel l’individu a peu de chances de résister. Horváth évoque brillamment cette jeunesse qui s’est laissée séduire par les mirages du fascisme. » Interprété par les comédiens Thierry Gibault, Pauline Moulène et Thibault Vinçon, ainsi que par le musicien Nicolas Lespagnol-Rizzi, ce spectacle s’inscrit dans la quête d’un théâtre « poétique, bouleversant, charnel et questionnant ». Un théâtre « en prise avec le monde », à travers lequel le jeune metteur en scène cherche à « retrouver la nécessité de dire, d’être là ».
